3rd Graders View Bald Eagles
by Tanya Robson
January 28, 2008
On a cold Thursday morning, Jan. 24th, the third graders traveled
to the J-2 Power Plant at Lexington to see the bald eagles. They
were excited to see about 15 eagles at the viewing area that day.
All kinds of interesting information about eagles, their
characteristics, and habitats were explained by an employee of the
Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District. The students
said the best part was watching the eagles dive for
fish.
