MHS Athletes Head for State Track Meet

MHS athletes will participate at the state track meet in Omaha May 16th and 17th. The girls' 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Laura Fritson, Neale Stadler, Ann Ahrens, and Sadie Jons have qualified for state as well as Ann Ahrens in the discus, Jarid Holliday and Al Sanabria in the 3200 meter run and Al Sanabria in the 1600 meters.
On Friday, the 3200 meter run will be at 11:55 and the discus at 12:00. On Saturday, the 400 relay will be at 10:45 and the 1600 is at 2:00.
The state meet will be held at Omaha Burke Stadium. Free shuttle service will be offered on both Friday and Saturday. The shuttles will leave from the northeast parking lot at Westroads Shopping Mall (I-680 and 102nd St) Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:00 a.m. each day. The drop-off and pick-up area for the shuttles will be at the south entrance of Omaha Burke Stadium. This year you may purchase your tickets at the Westroads Ticket Booth by the shuttle bus stop. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.
