From Dr. Wheelock…

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year!   My name is Melissa Wheelock, and I am the proud superintendent of Minden Public Schools.  I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with your family. This will be my first year as a superintendent, and I plan to use all of you as resources to continue on our district’s path of educational successes.

I have a goal of maintaining an atmosphere throughout Minden Public Schools in which our students feel safe, are successful, and share a mutual respect for one another.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time (832-2440.)  I extend an invitation for you to become actively involved in your child’s education.  Together, we will develop a strong team that will make this school year a success!
