MHS Students Attend All State Clinics

Minden High School will be well represented at the Nebraska All State Music Clinics this year.  Soprano Laynee Woodward and altos Rachel Schnoor and Jessi Preece  will sing with the 440 voice All State Choir under the direction of Dr. James Rodde of Iowa State University.  Jon Hunzeker was named as a bass alternate.  Will Raun will be a member of the All State Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Louis Bergonzi of the University Of Illinois.  Each year over 2000 of the best high school musicians in the state audition for the honor.  Selection as a member of one of the groups is one of the highest musical honors attainable in Nebraska.  They will attend the All State Clinic November 20-22 and will perform at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts at UN-L on Nov. 22.
