1. Update your contact information

Up-to-date contact information is critical for receiving school information through calls, texts, emails and letters.

Contact information can be updated with your child's school.

2. Complete an Application for Educational Benefits

Apply for Educational Benefits to bring critical funding to our schools — more than $100 million each year for academic support, technology and other student resources. Our goal is 100% application completion. Families of all incomes should complete the form.

Complete the form online after July 1

Or request a paper application from your school.

3. Save your seat on the bus

We're excited to introduce My Ride, a new GPS app for caregivers to request busing for students.

Download the app, create an account, and submit a Save Your Seat form by June 14 for each student who needs busing, even if your schedule remains the same.

If you don't have an account, keep an eye out for an email from MPS in August with an access link to set up your account, or contact your school.

5. Ensure immunizations are up-to-date

Proof of up-to-date immunizations or an exemption is required for school. Send all updated records to your school nurse.
