Join us for Black History Through the Eyes of Hip Hop on Tuesday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at Northrop Auditorium.

Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) and Black History 365 (BH365) are excited to celebrate Black history education and 50 years of Hip Hop as students take the stage to honor this rich heritage!

Participating schools include:

  • Edison High School
  • FAIR School for Arts
  • Franklin STEAM Middle School
  • Henry/Camden High School
  • North High School
  • South High School
  • Southwest High School

Student and family tickets will be available through MPS schools and there will be limited public availability at the Northrop (84 Church Street SE) box office. Join us in person or tune in to the livestream.

This event is presented by BH365, a new curriculum in MPS that focuses on the intentional teaching of Black history. Check out the event on Facebook for the latest updates.

While scheduled to perform on April 30, Andersen United students are unable to participate at this rescheduled event date.
