Congrats, January MPS Shines winners!

Congrats, January MPS Shines winners!

Each month, staff have an opportunity to nominate their colleagues for MPS Shines. Winners are randomly chosen from the nominations and receive recognition across MPS newsletters and social media, a coffee mug and other prizes.

Help us congratulate our January MPS Shines winners:

Kate Rauchman

Kate Rauchman, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher, Wilder

“Kate makes every family, student, and coworker feel safe, seen, and supported. She puts families at ease as they are starting the school-based special education referral process for the first time. Kate uses strength-based language with families and finds connection points with every family. Kate proactively includes team members, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and school psychologists. Kate communicates clearly with all team members and provides helpful, contextual information that honors each family's lived experience. Kate prioritizes family safety and ensures that all meetings and sessions with families are in a location that feels most safe. Kate truly shines in the ECSE Wilder team, and we are very lucky to get to work with her every day!”
