Congratulations, March MPS Shines winners!

Congratulations, March MPS Shines winners!

Each month, staff have an opportunity to nominate their colleagues for MPS Shines. Winners are randomly chosen from the nominations and receive recognition across MPS newsletters and social media, a coffee mug and other prizes.

Help us congratulate MPS Shines winners for March:

Ed Cichocki

Ed Cichocki, IT Service Desk support technician

"IT often needs to remote into MPS employee computers, where one computer is shared by a group of employees, to help those employees with technical problems. It can be difficult and time-consuming for the employee needing technical help, and for IT, to find the info about the shared computer which is needed by IT to remote into the computer to assist the employee with the problem.

Ed gathered and shared this computer info with MPS IT Service Desk support technicians, that will streamline the process and save time for IT and for these employees that need a MPS IT Service Desk support technician to remote into their computer to assist with technical problems. Ed embraces a culture of continuous improvement and is willing to adapt processes that lead to MPS IT being quicker, more effective, and more productive which saves money and makes our organization run better." - Colleen Koll

Jason Ziehm

Jason Ziehm, Special Education (ASD) teacher, South High

"Jason is a never-ending whirlwind of great ideas and creates endless new experiences for our students. He's revamped our school coffeeshop, helped students build adirondack chairs to raffle off, organized a custom Croc designing contest, and his classes sew tote bags out of coffee bags to sell.  He's always upping the ante and doing it with a wry sense of humor. Jason is part of what makes South great for us all!" - Elle Stike

Tiffany Harris-Gill, Special Education district program facilitator (DPF)

"I want to take a moment to acknowledge the work that Tiffany has led with other SPED DPFs focused on the clean up of our Special Education Course Catalog. I appreciate the attention to detail and creating a clear timeline and process to streamline this work. Your work and leadership are appreciated!" - Andrew Meierding
