MPS thanks Minneapolis voters for approving tech levy increase
Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Board Chair Collin Beachy and Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams released the following statement in response to the passage of the district’s tech levy ballot question:
“Thank you, voters, for your commitment to our students, our schools and our Minneapolis community,” said MPS School Board Chair Collin Beachy. “We appreciate the investment you are making, and we are committed to using these resources to improve student achievement and strengthen our school communities.”
“Minneapolis Public Schools is grateful for the support of voters in Minneapolis. About 66% of you supported the tech levy question, which serves as a vote of confidence as we navigate fiscal limitations,” said the superintendent. “This new revenue will help us continue our work to remain a strong, sustainable school district.”
