Roosevelt High School is a 2025 Special Olympics National Banner School
Congratulations to Roosevelt High School on being awarded and recognized as a 2025 Special Olympics North America National Banner School! This honor reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to inclusion through the Unified Champion Schools program, with more than six years of efforts led by students, staff and community members.
"We are so proud of the work done by our staff and students to create a wonderfully welcome and inclusive environment for students of all abilities,” noted Principal Christian Ledesma. “We look forward to increasing participation in our Unified program and to more championship wins by our athletes."
Roosevelt is the first school in Minneapolis to be recognized with this national award. Well done, Teddies!
