Roosevelt Principal Ledesma is MASSP High School Principal of the Year
Congratulations to Principal Christian Ledesma of Roosevelt High School!
Principal Ledesma has been named the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) – Hennepin Division – High School Principal of the Year. This award recognizes leaders for excellent leadership and dedication to education.
In response to this honor, Principal Ledesma expressed his gratitude:
“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this award. It reflects the tireless efforts of the entire staff at Roosevelt High School, who make my role as principal truly fulfilling. Our mission is to celebrate each student’s unique identity, empower them to achieve their goals, and provide them with an exceptional education. This award belongs to our students and the supportive community we serve.”
Principal Ledesma’s journey in education began as a child of Ecuadorian immigrants. Despite facing individual and systemic challenges, he overcame them with the unwavering support of educators and family. He attributes this award to their belief in his potential.
At the recent MASSP Summer Conference, Principal Ledesma received his award alongside other outstanding leaders from the Hennepin Division.
