Save your seat on the bus for 2026-27

Bus service needs for the 2026-27 school year will automatically roll over from the previous year, so most families do not need to take action unless your information has changed.

You only need to request transportation if:

• Your child is newly enrolled in an MPS school (new to the district)
• Your home address has changed
• Your transportation needs have changed (such as a new daycare or no longer riding the bus)

• Call Transportation or the District Communications Center (DCC) at 612-668-2300 or email District.CommunicationsCenter@mpls.k12.mn.us.
• Contact your child's school for assistance when staff return on August 10.
• Student Placement Services can also help with address changes over the summer at 612-668-1840 or by email at SPS.department@mpls.k12.mn.us
