Two MPS educators are among the 30 semifinalists for this year’s Minnesota Teacher of the Year award:
- Sophia Butler, music teacher, South High School
- Hannah Walker, social studies teacher, Andersen United Middle School
An independent selection panel narrowed the initial field of 128 candidates and will choose about 10 finalists in March. The Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced in May. Learn more.
