March 12, 2024 Policy Update

At its March 12, 2024 regular business meeting, the School Board approved two revisions to MPS policies:

• Policy 5391 (Graduation Requirements) was revised to align with recent legislative changes and also moved to policy language to utilize the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) model policy template language to make future legal changes easier. View the changes made here.
   
• Policy 5690 (Student Data) was also revised to align with legislative changes regarding what is considered student directory information. View the changes made here.
