MPS School Board Sets Process and Timeline to Fill Vacant Seat
The Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) School Board has approved a process and timeline to appoint a director to fill the vacant election district 3 board seat and complete the remainder of the term, which runs until January 4, 2027. The process will include an online application and a public interview of selected finalists with the appointment to be made at the School Board's November 12 meeting. The application window will open at 8am on September 27 and close at 5pm on October 18 with public interviews of selected finalists happening on November 7.
