Interested in commercial photography or graphic design? Express your creativity while you learn the common features and uses of Adobe Photoshop. Create original artwork, manipulate color images, and retouch photographs. (Also available online.)

Explore the world of graphic design and learn the principal vector drawing software used in logos, branding, and multimedia. Use Adobe Illustrator to create artwork, learn color theory, drawing and composition, typography, and quality file management skills. (Also available online.)

Audio Production & Broadcasting 1 - 92509*
Take on the role of a music producer, podcaster, DJ, newscater, sports pay by play announcer, film sound designer, and live sound engineer. Learn media production skills while creating real projects for professional media networks. Explore techniques in high quality microphone recording, well planned content creation, building creative sounds, and audio mixing. (Also available online.)

Produce media content that people will watch and listen. Create podcast episodes for your school, music recordings for KBEM Jazz88fm, radio spots, sound design for videos. Use your talents to host music shows, broadcast news, host and commentate on sports broadcasts and much more. Each student will also have the opportunity to be a host DJ on KBEM's midday show, Jazz With Class. (Also available online.)

Explore camera features, principles of studio and natural lighting, image composition, on-location and studio shooting, in-camera image manipulation, and how to catalog and manage your images.

Advanced Photography & Editing - 92616*
Expand your digital photography skills to include creative image editing and creative composition. Learn to manipulate and prepare images for commercial print and digital use; includes intro to story concept, video production, and 3D animation.

Digital Video 1 - 92709*
Interested in expressing yourself through film and video? Learn all phases of video production, including pre- and post-production, while you create digital video; feature length films, shorts, YouTube, animation and stop-motion videos. Plan, record, and edit videos using digital cameras and professional software.

Expand your video production skills and develop advanced technical knowledge of camera operation, audio recording, lighting, visual effects, graphics, and copyright laws. Learn to write copy, storyboard, create characters, and add visual effects.
