A midwesterner through and through, I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Iowa State University before moving to Minneapolis.

I have worked in education for over 25 years and coached with several sports teams across the metro.

When not working with youth, I enjoy throwing out a line at the lake and working on muscle cars. Now an empty nester, I am on a quest to find a pitbull puppy to devote my time to.
