Media Arts Teacher

As the primary photography teacher of the Media Arts pathway, my purpose is to give students the foundational skills they need to use today's leading creative software and provide experiential opportunities to consider as they look towards the future.

I spent the early part of my career writing stories and running social media for the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves, before pursuing a master of arts degree in graphic design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

During this time, I worked in Washburn High School’s media center, where I became interested in merging my artistic passions with a career in education.

After school hours, I play basketball, garden, and spend time with my wife and two young children.
