Healthcare Teacher

As an alum of Minneapolis South High School, I have a deep passion for the students of MPS. I come from a family of educators in Minneapolis. My step-grandmother, Stepmom and both brothers have either worked for or currently work in MPS. I also have been involved with the district for the year 2024 as an assistant baseball coach at my alma mater of South.

Prior to coming to MPS CTE, I served as a Paramedic with North Memorial Ambulance Service. I obtained my EMT certification from HCMC EMS Education. I then went and obtained my Paramedic license from Anoka Technical College. I hold certification from both the NREMT and the state of Minnesota as a paramedic. I am able to bring first-hand experience and insight to the students in the healthcare pathway from my years of experience. I hope with this position I am able to inspire and guide the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time outside with friends and family. I have a passion for traveling and visiting national/state parks. I am currently on a journey to see all 30 MLB stadiums and all 120 MiLB stadiums. I also enjoy watching documentaries and reading about space exploration, history, and sports. (Primarily Baseball and Wrestling)
