Investigating Careers - 99201 (Available to all high school students)
Design your future and make plans for life after high school graduation! In this course you will create a personal portfolio aligned with your career aspirations—research current and future career trends; discuss on-the-job health/safety issues and employer-employee relations; identify personal, work, and lifestyle values; and create a professional resume. This course is a prerequisite for course 99205.

Career Planning & Development - 99203 (Available to all high school students)
Explore your career interests! This project-based course builds on prior knowledge and life experiences to guide you through the process to set career and college readiness goals aligned with your personal career aspirations. Modeled after independent-study courses, you will work with your instructor to create a project plan that outlines the tasks and research you will do to further develop your skills and knowledge in a specific career field.
Career Work Experience - 99205 (Available to 11th & 12th graders)
Earn while you learn! Connect what you are learning in school through paid and unpaid work experiences out in the community. Build resume-worthy experiences and solidify your career interests. All work experiences will be monitored by an MPS work-based learning teacher and be aligned to Minnesota Department of Education requirements and prerequisites. You must be 16 years old to enroll in this course.
