Achieve Twin Cities
Achieve Twin Cities, the strategic nonprofit partner of MPS, manages MPS high school Career & College Centers in collaboration with school counseling teams and district leadership, and also provides several additional services as the MPS nonprofit foundation.
As the nonprofit foundation for MPS, Achieve Twin Cities provides a variety of services for the district:
- Receiving private donations to MPS from individual donors
- Administering MPS funds, including school and department funds, mini-grants for MPS staff and classrooms, and college scholarships for MPS students
- Partnering with MPS to secure major grants for district priorities
Career & College Centers
Career & College Centers managed by Achieve Twin Cities are embedded in 11 MPS high schools, with related services available in contract alternative schools and the MPS Online School. In partnership with school counseling teams, CCCs are open to all students and provide personalized guidance, resources and connections that help young people achieve their career and postsecondary goals.
