Adult Education: Multiple Locations
Assist adults with math, writing, reading, computer basics and ELL (ESL). Work with individuals or small groups. Time commitment 1-3 hours per week with options to fit your interests and schedule.

Community Education Ambassadors
Contact us if you are interested in supporting our Community Education Adult Enrichment Trips and Tours as a volunteer. This role is supporting our Adult Enrichment Instructors with off-site logistics. The role may require moderate walking (based on tour) and transportation to the host location. Must be 18+ to volunteer.

Community Education Access Program
Looking for a rewarding experience volunteering with adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for adults or small groups with adult supervision who can assist our instructors in our art and cooking classes, during field trips, and at events such as pancake breakfasts. Volunteer for one-time events or a series of classes.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Volunteers
Volunteers support Early Childhood Family Education classes by helping staff during children’s playtime when caregivers step out for parent education. This role involves engaging with young children ages birth to five, offering gentle guidance, and helping create a warm, safe play environment. Volunteers commit to 1–2 hours per class and can participate as a one‑time opportunity or on an ongoing basis, working alongside ECFE staff to ensure a positive experience for both children and families.

Emerson Dual Language School - Bike Education
Sam Crossley, PE teacher at Emerson Dual Language, is looking for volunteers in September and early October to help him on the days he takes his students biking around the neighborhood and Loring Park. You do not have to be a cyclist; indeed, walkers can help as well with fitting helmets, adjusting bike seats, supervising students while riding, or simply walking with students. Sign-up here!

Camden High School
Join us in supporting our students by volunteering at Camden's Clothing Closet, which provides free, essential clothing to students and their families every day during lunch. As a volunteer, you'll make a direct impact by helping students shop, organizing donations, and identifying key inventory needs. Your time and care can help ensure every student feels supported, confident, and prepared for school!
Make a difference for local families by volunteering at the Camden Food Shelf! Volunteers assist students in selecting 1–3 household meals or distributing prepackaged food packs at the end of the school day or prepackaged bags for students to pick up at dismissal time. Your support helps ensure our students go home with the essential food and supplies they need.
Help keep our school grounds thriving by volunteering in Camden High School’s Community Gardens! Volunteers assist with weeding, planting, and routine care to support native plants, create natural habitats, and grow fresh food for our neighborhood. Whether you can join us just once or come back regularly, your help makes a lasting difference in keeping our space beautiful and vibrant.
Share your talents and inspire students during Camden High School’s Wednesday Community Time! This dedicated weekly period gives students a space to build connections, explore their interests, and learn new skills outside the standard classroom. We are seeking passionate volunteers to guide students in areas such as Visual Art, Marketing, Dance, Step Team, Bike Maintenance, Robotics, Debate, Rock Band, and more. Whether leading a session or assisting a club, your experience can help spark new passions and strengthen our school community!

Justice Page Middle School
Rhino Store Icon - Daytime Hours F: The JPMS Rhino Store is where students can "spend" Rhino Bucks earned from hard work and good deeds, as given by their teachers. Rhino store volunteers will help students use their earned Rhino Bucks to select food, toys and other items. Students can cash in their Rhino bucks only during their own lunch period.
