December 2022: 

Anthony/Olson lighting project

  • Steady progress continues in upgrading classroom, office, and corridor lighting throughout Anthony Middle School.  Delivery lead time for select digital lighting controls and minor fixture revisions will extend project completion to mid-February.
  • Lighting upgrades are progressing daily at Olson Middle School.  Project completion is projected for mid to late January.

River Bend/Harrison-

  • Sheehy Construction has been awarded the River Bend and Harrison Lighting Upgrades project.
  • Board approval of contract December 13, 2022
  • Work Commences May 1, 2023

 

November 2022: 

River Bend/Harrison-

  • Bids have been opened.  In the process of confirming the low bidder and preparing the contract for the December MPS Board meeting.

Anthony/Olson lighting project

  • Upgrading outdated light fixtures to energy efficient lighting is underway.  Outdated fluorescent and incandescent fixtures are being replaced with new LED fixtures and lighting controls.

October 2022: 

River Bend/Harrison-

  • Receive bids November 3, 2022

  • Board Award January 2023

  • Work commences May 1, 2023

  • Substantial completion August 2023

Northeast- No updates to report

Anthony/Olson lighting project

  • Contractor – NAC Mechanical and Electrical Services

  • Work commences October 17, 2022

  • Substantial completion December 2022

September 2022: Project is on schedule for all three schools.

August 2022: 

Anthony/Olson lighting project

  • Contract to August Board consent agenda.
  • Tentative construction start – October 2022
  • Tentative project completion – December 2022

July 2022: 

  • Bids opened -  NAC Mechanical and Electrical Services awarded as project contractor.
  • August MPS Board meeting for contract approval

June 2022: Project in bidding – bids to be opened on June 28, 2022.

May 2022: Project is currently on track and there are no updates to report at this time.

April 2022: The project has started the design process.
