Scope of Work

The safe and welcoming entrance work includes renovating the existing entry corridor and office area to provide a secure vestibule adjacent at the entrance to the school.  Work will also include kitchen and lunchroom upgrades, updates to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and finishes throughout the school.

2023

December 2023:

  • TAB in process
  • Commissioning in process

September 2023:

  • Punchlist
  • ERU’s – PEND Start up, TAB & Commissioning
  • Close out

September 2023:

  • Shaw Lundquist substantially complete on 1Sept23.
  • There is some spill over Energy Recovery Unit work on the roof that will go until late September.
  • There is some electrical lighting and ceiling work that is ongoing.
  • Punchlist work occurring during the day in non-public area.
  • Shaw Lundquist should be complete by Mid-October.

August 2023:

  • Designer:  LHB   Contractor:  Shaw Lundquist
  • Shaw Lundquist in Demo mode
  • Work progressing according to schedule
  • Currently see no issues that should affect school opening.

June 2023:  

  • Project in Pre-Construction Phase
  • Shaw Lundquist is starting early in the Kitchen w/ barrier walls separating the construction from the public
  • Staff/Principal “in the loop” as far as school expectations & preparation for summer construction
  • Staff is coordinated with for move out/in activities and Asbestos abatement

April 2023:  Going through pre-construction shops/submittals and pre-mob activities.

March 2023:  Preconstruction activities are ongoing.  Construction is expected to begin in June 2023.

February 2023:  Preconstruction activities are underway.  Construction is expected to begin in June 2023.

Januart 2023:  We will begin pre-construction activities soon.  Construction is expected to begin in June 2023. 

2022

December 2022:  We are awaiting final execution of the construction contract and will begin pre-construction activities soon.  Construction is expected to begin in June 2023.

November 2022:  A Notice of Award was sent to Shaw-Lundquist Construction.  The contract will be reviewed for approval at the December 13, 2022 BOE meeting.

October 2022:  Bids were received and are being evaluated.

September 2022:  The project was is being solicited for bids for Summer 2023 construction.

April 2022:  The bid received exceeded the project budget.  This project will be reevaluated and rebid in the Fall for Summer 2023 work.

March 2022:  Documents have been solicited for bidding.  Bids are due on 3/22/2022.

February 2022:  Construction Documents are being developed.

January 4, 2022:  Design Development is complete.  Construction Documents will be developed in the next month.
