Las Estrellas Dual Language Elementary School Welcoming Entrance

December-

Grand Opening of New Entrance celebrated on December 2, 2025.  Contractor is still working on finishing some minor punchlist work.  Spring 2026, landscaping and concrete skim coating of new ramp will be done.

September-

Over the summer, construction crews worked hard to relocate the main office suite and health office to where the old media center was.  The Media Center has been relocated to the west wing of the building where the old health office was.  The old main office has been turned into a new kindergarten room.

The new safe & welcoming entrance will be on the SE corner of the building. Work is still underway on the new exterior canopy and handicap ramp into the new main office suite.  If weather cooperates, the new entrance will be open by late October, 2025.

April-

Project is on track.

March-

Multiple bids were received on 3/11/25 and project cost is within budget.

Add Alternate for Monument Sign will be accepted.

Project to be awarded to Jorgenson Construction pending MPS Formal Board Approval on 4/15/2025.
