Wilder Complex Safe & Welcoming Entrance

January -

Grand Opening for New Entrance moved to January 20^th when elevator work will be completed.

December-

Grand Opening for New Door #1 Entrance planned for January 5, 2026.  Contractor will continue to work on minor punchlist items and repairing a structural issue on the roof above existing auditorium.  Upgrades to Wilder Elevators planned for end of December, beginning of January 2026.

September-

Over the summer, construction crews worked hard to renovate the old south side family center into the new main entrance suite and health office.  The ceiling in the auditorium was also fixed as it was sagging.  Renovations include new unisex toilets for visitors as they enter the building. 

The new safe & welcoming entrance will be on the SW corner of the building, including a new monument sign. Work is still underway on the new exterior addition and fixing the exterior portion of the auditorium roof.   If weather cooperates, the new entrance will be open by late October, 2025.

April-

Multiple bids were received on 3/13/25 and project cost is within budget.

Add Alternate for Monument Sign will be accepted.

Project to be awarded to Maertens-Brenny Construction pending MPS Formal Board Approval on 4/15/2025.

February-

Project is in bid phase.
