Student Accounting

The Student Accounting Office produces a number of standard district-wide and school level reports. Below are listed the types of reports that are available.

District Period Enrollment Report
This report shows a snapshot of the district-wide enrollment data captured on the first valid school day of the indicated month.

District Free and Reduced Lunch Program Report
This report is produced in the fall of each academic school year.  It serves as a poverty indicator by highlighting the district-wide count of students who are eligible for free and reduced lunch (F/R) meals.  The report is based on both the school-site and aggregate district data.

Student Racial / Ethnic Demographics Report
Produced in the fall of each academic year, this report represents the official district-wide student racial/ethnic demographics for grades K-12.

Student English Learners Served Report
This report outlines the distribution of English Learners by Major Language for grades K-12. The report is produced in the fall of each academic school year.

Children of families who live outside of Minneapolis may attend a Minneapolis public school following placement by Student Placement Services staff and the completion and approval of an Open Enrollment application.

Student Stability Reports
This report gives statistics on how many students are Enrolled for a complete school year and how many new students enroll during the school year.

Where Students Live Reports
This report is produced in the Fall of each academic school year and is an Enrollment-based report that provides data on the city of Minneapolis residential areas being represented by the total number of students that are currently attending MPS; by the attendance-area in which they live; and also by the school sites and programs in which these students are currently enrolled.

District Class Size Report
This report is produded in the fall of each academic school year to detail class size for grades K-5.
