Get the new My Ride app!
MPS has launched a new bus routing and GPS system for the 2025-26 school year. Families can download the My Ride K-12 app to request yellow bus service, access route information and request transportation changes.
Career & Technical Education (CTE) Bus Service
A free shuttle bus service is available for students taking in-person Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. The shuttle will take students from their high school to the CTE Centers at Edison, North and Roosevelt and back to their school again.
Students will still need to get to and from their high school in order to ride the shuttle bus to the CTE Centers.
Families/caregivers will receive the shuttle schedule from the MPS Transportation department. If you have questions about transportation, call Principal Michael Luseni at 612-408-1345 or email michael.luseni@mpls.k12.mn.us
Bus route changes
The Transportation team is currently reviewing bus routes to improve service for students and families. This review may result in changes to your student’s bus stop pick up or drop off times and potentially their bus stop location.
The updated routes will go into effect on Wednesday, Oct 22. Families will receive an email on Tuesday, Oct. 21 with their student’s bus schedule if anything changes. Families can also view their student’s updated bus schedule in the My Ride app starting Monday, Oct 20. This review helps ensure that routes are running efficiently, buses are arriving on time, and we’re making the best use of available transportation resources.
Changes to bus routes happen every three days, although not all routes experience a change.
School Transportation Coordinators will notify families when a change affects your student's route (pick up or drop off time, bus stop change, etc.). Families will receive notification if their students' scheduled time has changed by more than 3 minutes.
