New routing and GPS systems coming
These new systems will streamline operations and enhance parent communication and will be fully operational for summer school 2025.
In preparation, our current GPS system will be removed from yellow school buses over spring break. This means families will not be able to track GPS on yellow buses using Here Comes The Bus from April 7 to the end of the school year.
You can learn more about the new family GPS app, My Ride K-12. The app will be available for download starting April 7.
Career & Technical Education (CTE) Bus Service
A free shuttle bus service is available for students taking in-person Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. The shuttle will take students from their high school to the CTE Centers at Edison, North and Roosevelt and back to their school again.
Students will still need to get to and from their high school in order to ride the shuttle bus to the CTE Centers.
Families/caregivers will receive the shuttle schedule from the MPS Transportation department. If you have questions about transportation, call Principal Michael Luseni at 612-408-1345 or email michael.luseni@mpls.k12.mn.us
2024-25 Bus Change Calendar
Refer to the calendar to help identify when a change may happen to your student's route. Changes to bus routes happen every three days, although not all routes experience a change.
School Transportation Coordinators will notify families when a change affects your student's route (pick up or drop off time, bus stop change, etc.). Families will receive notification if their students' scheduled time has changed by more than 3 minutes.
