The Source
Day-to-Day Resources
Whether you need help in the office, the classroom, or other sites, we've gathered various resources to support your everyday work here at MPS.
Training
There's different types of training available to MPS staff.
Instructor-Led
Instructor-led training is almost always completed in-person, as a scheduled group event.
Self-Paced Online Courses
MPS online training courses are self-paced. This means that you can complete online training on your own, during a time which works with your schedule. Self-paced online training courses, like New Employee Orientation (NEO) and the Compliance Training Series, are available from the SuccessFactors website.
Note: Per union agreements, all time spent completing MPS training is paid time. It's always a best practice to speak with your supervisor/principal to determine dates and times for you to complete training.
-Accessibility Support-
Online training courses support many screen-readers, including but not limited to:
-
NVDA: A free screen-reading software for Windows.
- VoiceOver: The screen reader built into Apple devices.
- TalkBack: A screen reader created by Google that’s installed by default on Android devices.
