Promethean panels are interactive touch-screen classroom equipment. Promethean panels can act as a whiteboard, an extension of your laptop, a presentation tool, a choice board, and so much more!

Did you know that due to the large number of classrooms, there's three types of panels being used each school year?

Step 1: Create a User Profile

MPS employees can create a unique user profile on Nickel + Cloud Connect panels. With a user profile, employees can login to their MPS Google account to quickly and easily access files, apps, and so on.

User Profiles and unique to each panel, and cannot be transferred to another panel. If you switch classrooms, you'll need to create a new user profile for that classroom's panel.

 

Step 2: Login to Cloud Connect

Cloud Connect is the newest feature, and allows you to directly access files from your Google Drive. 

 

Step 3: Login to Google Play Store and Download Apps

 

Step 4: Learn about the Unified Menu

The Unified Menu floats on top of any screen, and contains 10 options.

ActivInspire

ActivInspire is a tool used on Promethean panels. Use ActivInspire to create interactive lessons to improve student engagement.

Document Camera

Document cameras are used to display objects or text. Document cameras are compatible with Promethean panels.

Poly Studio Camera

The Poly Studio Camera is classroom equipment designed for virtual conferencing that includes camera and audio capabilities. They're available to a limited number of 6-12 teachers.
