> Overview
Compliance training is information all MPS employees are required to know. By making compliance training a priority at Minneapolis Public Schools, we can create a safer and better workplace which focuses on building and maintaining trust.
Timeline
Compliance training is mandated by MPS policies, or by laws and regulations passed at the State and/or Federal level.
- As a new employee, you need to complete Compliance training within the first 30 days of being hired.
- To fulfill State and Federal law requirements, all employees must take Compliance training during a designated time each year.
If you're being asked to take the Compliance training outside of work hours,
speak to the Office of the Ombudsperson, or to your union representative.

If you're not signed in to Google Chrome you'll have to take the training again, as your course completion will not be marked in the system.
Step 3: Go to the SuccessFactors Website.
All of MPS' online training courses are found on the SuccessFactors website.
Step 4: Click the Learning tile.
Compliance training is automatically assigned to you by the system. To begin the training, you must go to your Learning page.

Note: Compliance is different from New Employee Orientation (NEO) which goes over information like benefits, payroll, etc.
