Overview
Join a classroom to teach when the regular teacher is unavailable.

MPS is asking all classroom educators to use the Introductory Letter for Substitute teachers (shown on the right) to set subs up for success.
Whether you choose to leave substitute lesson plans by paper, Google Drive link, or loaded onto a Promethean panel, this resource will quickly allow subs to orient themselves to your classroom.
With Promethean models varying across our classrooms and schools, this resource supports substitute teachers in bridging technology gaps and increasing effectiveness for classroom instruction.
> General Help
All MPS staff (including reserve staff and substitutes) have an MPS staff account. Substitutes can access necessary web resources and email through their MPS Staff email account. For support with your MPS email account, connect with MPS IT Services:

- In person: visit the Davis Center located at 1250 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55411 from 7:30am to 10:30am.
Note: For data privacy reasons, you'll need to download and install the Microsoft Authenticator MFA app to open MPS resources.
